Antrim Lough Shore Park Art
Commission public art competition runner up
A dynamic sculpture designed to draw the viewer close, through and around the installation, encouraging them to explore how it frames and highlights all aspects of the lough including its views, folklore, wildlife and history. The sculpture consists of three elements, two large structural Cor-ten steel forms and a golden ‘rope’ of sculpted bronze eels that unite these two structural forms. The intention is that in its entirety the sculpture becomes a place to visit, spend time and contemplate.
