The engraved Donegal stone circle with bronze inserts sits comfortably within new and contrasting paving.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Flax Flower Relief<\/strong> references the history and significance of linen making in the area allowing it to flourish. Inlaid into this relief are five bronze discs. One disc in the centre and four others around it. The discs have a have a typical bronze finish located externally and imply treasure, something important and precious. Bronze is appropriate as it is hard wearing and there is evidence of settlements in Dough from the bronze age represented by the \u2018Holestone\u2019, a bronze age megalith just outside Doagh.
