The \u2018Bottleship\u2019 artworks represent various shipwrecks off the Norfolk coast, an historically treacherous coastline for seafarers because of its shifting offshore sand banks combined with strong winds. We researched the maritime history of Great Yarmouth to come up with our concept of the \u2018Bottleships\u2019. The council wanted to create recycle bins as \u2018artwork\u2019 in order to entice the general public to use them.
